In stalling the "Realtek Audio Control" app from the Windows app store. Selecting "show hidden devices" in the device manager (nothing new showed up under the "Sound, video and game controllers" section) Disabling the sound device for my graphics card (just to make sure it wasn't somehow overriding the motherboard sound) Flashing my bios (I am now on version 7C37vA7) (After uninstalling the ones from MSI and rebooting.) Installing the Realtek drivers from the MSI website ( here) When I go into my device manager, I see nothing under "Sound, video and game controllers" except for "AMD High Definition Audio Device", which is my graphics card. I know my speakers still work, because I can get sound through my monitors via the HDMI port on my graphics card, but that's not ideal, as it means I can't take advantage of the additional audio jacks provided by the motherboard. I just put together a new build, and everything seems to be working except for the sound on the motherboard.
